Hi, I'm Nathan
I’m a life-long resident of the Hawkesbury. I have lived in Oakville, Richmond, North Richmond and McGraths Hill. My roots in the district stretch back to the Third Fleet.
I was elected to Hawkesbury Council in 2016. I also served on the  Hawkesbury River County Council from 2016 to 2021 and was elected Chair of that organisation for two terms in 2019 and 2020.
I have been a member of many community and advocacy groups including seven years as a leader of the Macquarie Youth Leadership Forum, and through local dramatic society the Richmond Players.
As a secondary teacher, I teach at a local high school, and have also taught as an ethics teacher in local primary schools. My passions include critical thinking, civic engagement, what makes strong communities, and anything to do with science or astronomy.
I’ve raised a son as a single Dad, run my own business, and helped raise money for worthy causes.
I greatly value the rural amenity and heritage of the Hawkesbury district.
For the last seven years on Council I’ve striven to preserve what makes our city so great to live in, while making it an innovative, prosperous and economically sustainable city.
